DESCRIPTION: These books are the rolls maintained by each teacher within the school to record student attendance. The rolls include school's name, year and term, teacher's name, beginning and ending class dates, names and numbers of all student enrolled in class, sex, grade, entry code, exit code, days present and absent, a term summary (number of days attending classes, number of days absent, times tardy), term grade, and the Davis County School District automated attendance record. In 1984, the Davis County School District automated records, and discontinued the use of attendance rolls.
