DESCRIPTION: This series documents the basic curriculum program which all new officers are required to attend. Candidates are required to pass written and practical tests in order to be certified as a peace officer. Information may include curriculum outline, handouts, copies of the written tests, description of practical tests, class rosters, etc. The curriculum is annually updated and approved by a council appointed by the governor. The series is used to document the type of basic training an officer received.
