DESCRIPTION: This series contains reports pertaining to Utah's participation in the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, May 1-October 30, 1893. Included are a 172-page volume published in 1894 entitled "Utah at the World's Columbian Exposition" (which contains separate reports from the commission, secretary, and various department heads) and a 4-page typewritten Report of the Utah World's Fair Commission to Governor Heber M. Wells dated February 19, 1896. The exposition was a commemmoration of the 400th anniversary of Columbus landing in America.
