DESCRIPTION: These reports document surcharge collection for building permits. These funds are used for training, education, and exam preparation for building inspectors and other construction-related licensees. Compliance agencies are required to submit these reports to the Department of Commerce, Division of Professional Licensing on a quarterly basis (UCA 15A-1-209). The Division uses this information to determine the amount of funds being collected in order to ascertain the amount of money that can be expended for training. Information includes name, contact person of compliance agency, surcharge compilations, signatures, position information, and preparation date.
