DESCRIPTION: These reports were created by or for the Utah State Planning Board, from 1934 to 1941. Various agencies prepared reports of their work and submitted them to the planning board to review and use in their research for state improvements. The Civil Works Administration, the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works, the National Resources Board, the Public Works Administration, and the Works Progress Administration are agencies that worked closely with the State Planning Board and submitted reports. The series includes the following types of reports; public works' project inventories; reviews of planning work and completed projects; reports on state policies; biennial reports to the governor; a report on wildlife restoration; tax reports; and agency reports on statistical research.
