DESCRIPTION: These are records created for the Columbus Quincentenary Commission of Utah. The commission was established to mark the 500th anniversary of the voyages of discovery of Christopher Columbus. The Commission was created and instructed under UCA_63-79-1_(1990). The information was created to document the various activities of the Utah commission. They include newspaper clippings, magazine articles, commission proceedings, membership lists, news releases, grant application, correspondence, and a coloring book developed and printed by the commission.
