DESCRIPTION: The Castle Gate Relief Fund Committee was a comittee appointed by Governor Mabey to oversee the distribution of subscribed money after the Castle Gate mine explosion on March 8, 1924. The minutes begin with the first meeting in April 1924 and end October 1935. Also included are the committee by-laws submitted to the committee on June 27, 1924, a chart of organization, and a chart showing course of applications for relief.
