DESCRIPTION: This series documents requests by state and federal agencies to work on sites which are eligible for inclusion on the National Historic Register. The records include correspondence, environmental impact statements, photographs, agency inspection reports, and related documents. Information includes the description and location of the site, proposed changes, assessment of project impact, state or federal agency proposing the project, and the Division of State History's assessment. Documents which could jeopardize the security of any archeological site are segregated and cross-referenced in the main collection of these files.
