APPRAISAL

Administrative

According to the staff, this record is vital to their operations and must be maintained for as long as the pool is open. Since the record is so important to them, it should be microfilmed to protect against loss. In addition, microfilming will reduce the amount of office space used to store the record. This record should be maintained as long as the pool is in existence. Once the pool closes down, there is no need to keep this record as it has no research value. No specific retention period can be given because there is no way of predicting how long a swimming pool will remain in operation.
