APPRAISAL

Administrative Historical

Dispersed radioactive material can cause long term health hazards and a record of radiation quantities in the air is valuable. Lawsuits can and have been brought for injuries caused by nuclear testing long after the tests have ended. (Allen vs. U.S. 588 Fed Supp 247).
