DESCRIPTION: These volumes record the sale or transfer of property, including consecration deeds with an individual giving all property to Brigham Young, Trustee for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in consideration of the good will the donor has toward the LDS church. Entries note the property description, names of the persons selling and buying, the amount, signatures of the parties and officials, and recording date. By law, conveyances were not validated until entered by the county recorder. Two brands from 1859 are registered as well following the deeds in the second volume.
