TITLE: State Constitution Symposium student paper contest records

DESCRIPTION: These records document the student paper contest sponsored by the Utah State Archives as part of their Utah State Constitution centennial celebration. Student papers were solicited from elementary, middle/junior high and high schools across Utah. Certificates and U.S. savings bonds were presented to first and second place winners in each of the three divisions (elementary, junior high/middle school, and high school). Certificates were also awarded to honorable mentions in the elementary and junior high/middle school divisions. First and second prize winners read their papers at the State Constitution Symposium held on May 8, 1995 in the historic Salt Lake City-County Building. These records include correspondence, notifications, judging information, symposium program, and student papers.
