DESCRIPTION: These minutes document the meetings, actions and recommendations of the LSCA advisory council. The 11 member council is composed of appointed librarians and users representing diverse interests, geographical locations, and minority points-of-view. The council meets three times each year and reviews all grant proposals submitted by Utah public libraries for literacy programs, improvements for libraries with inadequate services, institutional advancements, library constructions, and major urban resource librarianships (MURL).
