TITLE: Pay advance records and reconciliations

DESCRIPTION: These records document pay advances to state employees who experience a gap in income when a state or quasi-state organization is assimilated into the FINET payroll system. This happened initially when the state changed its payroll system in 1985. Currently, the state employee receiving the advance payment may determine the schedule for reimbursing the state. The record is in the form of a computer printout and contains the original advance amount, subsequent payments, and monthly and annual reconciliation information for each individual account.
