DESCRIPTION: This is Governor Dern's memorandum journal and ledger record of the RFC (Reconstruction Finance Corporation) emergency relief funds allocated and made available to the state of Utah and of disbursements to and by the counties. The RFC was a pre-New Deal federal agency created in 1932 by the Hoover administration to facilitate economic activity by lending money to a variety of businesses and state and local governments during the Great Depression.
