DESCRIPTION: This series contains descriptions of each state board and commission including information on the purpose and membership of each board and commission , as well as a list of the appointees to each and the dates upon which they were appointed. These materials originally constituted a handbook or "appointment log" of information regarding each board or commission for use by Governor Rampton and his staff. The membership list of each began during Governor Clyde's second administration, circa 1961. The appointment log was updated accordingly during Governor Rampton's administrations as new members were appointed.
