DESCRIPTION: This series contains photographs (and some negatives and contact sheets), mostly of Governor Rampton at official functions, as well as photographs of Rampton with Lucybeth Rampton. Most of the photographs, with the possible exception of those depicting road dedication ceremonies, were probably taken by photographers other than Rampton's press secretary, such as newspaper photographers, those employed by state or federal agencies, or photographers hired by private companies. The photographs of road dedication ceremonies seem to have been taken by a photographer hired by the Utah State Road Commission. Significant photographs in this series include documentation of road dedication ceremonies in 1966 and several photographs of Rampton with U.S. President Lyndon Baines Johnson.
