DESCRIPTION: This series contains copies of the minutes, reports, publications, and correspondence relating to the activities of the Medical Malpractice Insurance Evaluation Committee, established by Governor Rampton by means of a July 22, 1972 executive order. The Committee was established as a sub-division of the Dept. of Social Services in order to study the cost and availability of medical malpractice insurance, to consider what legislative or executive remedies might be appropriated, and to issue a report on their findings.
