DESCRIPTION: This series contains materials relating to the designation by Governor Lee of particular days, weeks, months, or years to focus public attention on a wide variety of issues, ideals, events, individuals or causes. The series also includes material relating to such designations, mostly correspondence from organizations requesting that the Governor to issue some type of proclamation. These files also include a number of statements of welcome or congratulations to particular organizations on the occasion of a conference or a milestone in the history of the organization.
