DESCRIPTION: This series contains a variety of materials related to Governor Lee's public addresses. Included in these materials are the text of public speeches, messages to the Legislature, radio addresses, news media interviews, campaign speeches, press releases, as well as correspondence related to these public messages. In addition to such documents the series includes considerable correspondence, mostly received in response to Lee's speeches. A portion of the series consists of subject files ostensibly meant as source material for speeches, but encompassing a wide variety of topics.
