TITLE: Mammoth dam failure records

DESCRIPTION: This series contains correspondence, photographs, maps and newspaper articles, and the State Engineer's report to the Governor about the cause and effects of the dam failure. The Mammoth dam was situated twelve miles east of Fairview, Utah and was owned by the Price River Irrigation Company. On 24, June of 1917 the dam broke and the reservoir emptied.
