DESCRIPTION: These dockets document cases heard by the justice of the peace court. These preprinted books contain handwritten descriptions of civil and criminal (misdemeanor) cases. Receipts are attached throughout the book and loose files are also found. The dockets include the name of the justice court judge, names of plaintiff and defendant, charge, date case heard, summary of case, decision, fines, and justice of peace signature.
