DESCRIPTION: This record series consists of data collected to determine HIV seroprevalence and trends of infection among clients of sexually transmitted disease (STD) clinics. The following data is collected on each form: project area and site numbers; month and year of visit; month and year of previous visit; state, county and zip codes of client's residence; client's gender, age group, and race/ethnicity; STD diagnosis; client's risk exposure; client's reason for clinic visit; referral source; and STD test results.
