DESCRIPTION: "The agency shall prepare or cause to be prepared a redevelopment plan for [each] project area" in accordance with the provisions of UCA 17A-2-1213 (1997). The agency is required to conduct examinations, investigations, and other negotiations regarding the plan. The plan "shall be consistent with the community's general plan, master plan, and other plans of the community involved in development or capital improvement programs affecting the project area." The agency shall "consult with the planning commission of the community in preparing a project area redevelopment plan" (UCA 17A-2-1213 (1997)). Approved plans become part of Schedule 24, Item #3 "Certification Files."
