DESCRIPTION: This series contains correspondence, reports, minutes, and other forms of information on statewide centennial events. The events include programs such as such as the Logo/Slogan contest, Passport Program, Centennial license plates, statehood week events, and many other happenings throughout the state during the year long celebration. The series was created by State History as part of a capstone project iniated by the Legislature. The project is a compiled and written history of the 1996 statehood centennial celebration. This series contains correspondence, reports, minutes and other information on centennial events that took place statewide. It contains information on events such as the Logo/Slogan contest, Passport program, Centennial license plates, statehood week events, and many other happenings during the year long celebration.
