DESCRIPTION: This series contains records on the Utah Statehood Centennial Commissin and staff and their activities. The series was created by State History as part of a capstone project iniated by the Legislature. The project is a compiled and written history of the 1996 statehood centennial celebration. It contains reports, minutes, and memos. This information is not complete; it does not contain all minutes, reports etc.(see related records for more information). Registers of centennial related articles in the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News are contained in this series. The finished history on a CD Rom and numerous interviews on tape with commission and staff members, conducted by the author of the history, is also held within this series.
