DESCRIPTION: The District V Human Services Integration Project was initiated in 1972 in a five-county area in southwestern Utah. The project aimed to create a delivery system in the five-county area that was planned, developed and implemented through a system of linkages between service providers which facilitated treatment of individual and/or family needs in a more coordinated and comprehensive manner. It followed that this unification approach was implemented throughout rural Utah by local government planning agencies. This series contains reports documenting the development of the District V program and others throughout the State.
