DESCRIPTION: This series contains a wide variety of records that provide background and documentation of the administration activities that took place in the planning and execution for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Records may include correspondence, planning committee minutes, summaries of events, contracts, photographs, scrapbooks, articles, program notes and information about events and programs sponsored or funded by an agency, and audiovisual materials. Office of Economic Development committees and subcommittees, such as the torch relay committee, are also represented in this series and may include donated records from private citizens and former committee members.
