ARRANGEMENT: Chronological by year, thereunder alphabetical by water right area, thereunder chronological by case number.
DESCRIPTION: Except in cases of emergency, no state agency, county, city, corporation, or person may relocate any natural stream channel or alter the beds and banks of any natural stream without first obtaining the written approval of the state engineer (UCA 73-3-29). This series documents stream alteration applications. In addition to the applications, the files contain associated plan and cross-sectional drawings of the proposed alteration, location maps, photographs taken during site visits, Federal and State agency comments on the proposal, and decision documents for the application (rejection of approval).
