DESCRIPTION: This series documents the officers who participated in the Police Corps program. Police Corps was a federally funded scholarship program to put highly educated, highly trained police officers on the street with a commitment of four years at a selected law enforcement agency. Participant files may include training records, certifications, Police Corps participant agreements, transcripts, scholarship payment and qualification information, and communications between Police Corps and participant. The agency funding ended December 2005 and there is no longer a Police Corps program.
