DESCRIPTION: This series consists of records created by the Police Corps that document the research, creation and application of agency programs, and policies and procedures. Records may include correspondence, policy and program case files, and executive files documenting leadership roles and decision making processes. Police Corps was a federally funded scholarship program to put highly educated, highly trained police officers on the street with a commitment of four years at a selected law enforcement agency. Program funding ended in December 2005 and there is no longer a Police Corps program.
