TITLE: Tooele Valley Airport master plan

DESCRIPTION: The Tooele County Commission began exploring the feasibility of an airport in Tooele Valley in 1978. To this end the county worked with Rocky Mountain Associates Environmental Science and Engineering, Inc. to develop a master plan for the airport. This master plan was submitted to the county in 1986. It explains project goals and objectives, and provides an analysis of existing conditions, socioeconomic characteristics, aviation demand forecasts, economic feasibility, development alternatives, and an extensive environmental study. The master plan includes numerous tables and maps of the proposed airport.
