AGENCY: Department of Corrections. Inmate Services
SERIES: 26268
TITLE: Scrapbooks
DATES: 1954-1972.
ARRANGEMENT: Chronological.
DESCRIPTION: These scrapbooks were kept by an unidentified employee at the Utah State Prison. They include newspaper clippings as well as published action reports from the board of pardons. These board of pardon reports are noteworthy because they include handwritten notes about each prisoner cited, presumably made by the person keeping the scrapbook. While most information in this record should be considered public there are a few exceptions that should be noted. Primarily there are instances where the names of minors involved in rape cases have been noted. Based on the presumption that they'd still be alive at the time of accessioning a 75 year privacy restriction has been placed on this record.
