TITLE: Great Salt Lake shoreline flooding

DESCRIPTION: This geospatial dataset represents the Flood Plain Management Services Study (FPMS) areas, 100-Year Flood for the Great Salt Lake. The areas included are Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, Tooele and Box Elder Counties. The information was collected by digitizing the quad maps (Salt Lake, Tooele, Box Elder counties) and plat maps (Weber and Davis counties). The digital data contains the zone and shoreline boundaries. The FPMS study was limited to the general area along the Salt Lake County shoreline of the Great Salt Lake. Only the 100-year flood elevation was evaluated and included wind and wave action for the Great Salt Lake.
