TITLE: Birth register
DATES: 1890-1905.
ARRANGEMENT: Chronological by date of report.
DESCRIPTION: This Ogden City birth register includes only births that occurred in Ogden. Information in the register includes date of birth, name and address of parents, color (black or white), sex, whether stillborn or live birth, name of attending physician, and remarks. In addition to the register, the clerk collected a number of birth certificates and affidavits confirming birth dates, some of which occurred before 1890. These were interleafed and taped to the pages of the original register. Later, the office created a typewritten copy of the register.
