DESCRIPTION: These records are criminal histories from the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and the Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI). They are used as part of an application for a license for a group of professions regulated by the division. Applicants are required to submit fingerprints for certain professions regulated by the Division. Fingerprints are compared to FBI and BCI databases for criminal history matches. Criminal history records received from the FBI/BCI are used in the evaluation of approval or denial of the license application. These records contain unique information in rough notes or drafts assembled or created and used to prepare or analyze other documents. The information adds proper understanding to the formulation and execution of policies, decisions, actions, or responsibilities. -Personal Identifying Information (PII) that may be contained within this records series consists of: name, username, email address, social security number, date of birth, drivers license number, home/mailing address, criminal records, passport number, financial account information, medical records, IP address, and biometric data
