DESCRIPTION: These files were created by Mary Kaye Huntsman, wife of Governor Jon Huntsman, with the help of her administrative assistant. The files relate to Mrs. Huntsman's activities as first lady. They include the following: a) correspondence, primarily acceptance or decline letters; b) activities, information about all activities she was involved in; c) mansion activities, information about assignments and scheduling of the mansion; d) travel, information about Mrs. Huntsman's travel as first lady; e) family; f) governor's associations, information about Mrs. Huntsman's participation in governor's associations like Western Governor's Association, National Governor's Association, and Republican Governor's Association; g) literacy commission files; records relating to the Literacy Commission, of which Mrs. Huntsman acts as honorary chair; h) initiatives; i) website, and j) media.
