DESCRIPTION: These are duplicate copies of birth certificates for births occurring in Sanpete County, Utah. The majority of the volumes are from Ephraim with the remaining from Wales. Each certificate contains the name of the county; the name of the precinct or town; the child's full name; sex; multiple birth information; legitimacy; date of birth; parents' names, residence, color (race), age, occupation, and birthplaces; total number of children born to the mother; and number of children still living. Also included is the name and signature of the attending physician.
