DESCRIPTION: This series contains a various surviving transcripts of court proceedings. The cases include civil and criminal actions and one inquest. One case began in the Justice Court and made its way to the District Court, the transcript for that case is from the Justice Court, not the District Court. Two cases went from District Court to the Utah State Supreme Court, The transcripts of the original case, as well as the Supreme Court transcripts were returned to the District Court. A couple of original draft shorthand transcripts came to the Archives from the court in Sanpete County and were added to this series.
