DESCRIPTION: This series contains records related to building in Spanish Fork. Included is a ledger of building permits issued to residents and contractors for apartments, garages, carports, houses, remodels, additions, facades, and relocations. This ledger, which covers 1973-1977, is organized by last name of the person obtaining the permit and contains the full names, dates the permit was requested or issued, the permit number, the address of the building , a short summary of the building activity that was permitted, and a list of inspection dates.
Also included in this series is a ledger documenting inspections of buildings and building projects. This ledger, which covers 1965-1977, is also organized by last name of the person who originally obtained the permit and contains the full names, address of inspection site, and dates of inspection. Most entries also note what was being inspected on each date and an indication of the status of the inspection.
