DESCRIPTION: The Division of Consumer Protection administers and enforces the Residential Vocational and Life Skills Program Act (Utah Code 13-53 et seq. (2026)) as mandated by Utah Code 13-2-102(2)(r) (2026). Records document the registration of residential, vocational, and life skills programs operating in the State. Records include, financial documents, written disclosures, proof of insurance, and other records required for registration.

Under Utah Code 63A-19-401.1 (2026), the Utah Department of Commerce hereby discloses this record series includes personal data.

Personal data that may be contained in registration may include name, home phone number, and applicant's criminal history.

The Division collects registration information to determine if an applicant meets statutory and rule registration requirements.
