DESCRIPTION: This series contains a variety of records related to airlines and other transportation issues in the state. These documents were created and used by the Board of Aeronautics, the Division of Industrial Promotion, and the Utah Transportation Council. Board of Aeronautics documents include meeting minutes, board appointments, personnel information, information on airports, newsletters and other releases, documents and proposals from airlines, and general information. It includes documents from a court appeal of decisions made by the Civil Aeronautics Board. The documents include petitions, briefs, and written testimonies on the subjects such as airline route changes, airline mergers, passenger fares, and other Civil Aeronautics Board decisions concerning Utah. This series is closely related to Series 3115 Administrative records and should probably be processed in conjunction with that series.
