DESCRIPTION: This series contains a variety of records from the Utah Agencies. The Utah Agencies was created by Articles of Association in 1969 as an association of the State of Utah (Board of Industrial Development), Salt Lake City, the Salt Lake City Area Chamber of Commerce, and Pro-Utah, Inc. The purpose of the Utah Agencies was to promote improved air transportation to Utah and to encourage economic development in the state. Records in the series include the Articles of Association of the Utah Agencies, member appointments, budget documents, airline information, and promotional event information. The series also contains a variety of correspondence related to economic development. This series should probably be processed in conjunction with other series from this agency, since this and the other series are not well-organized and there may be some over-lap in the records.
