DESCRIPTION: In celebration of the 100th birthday of the Utah Arts Council, a special exhibit of the State Collection was put on display at the Union Pacific Depot in downtown Salt Lake City. All three components of the collection - - Fine Art, Folk Art and Public Art - - were displayed together in depot's lobby. The Folk Arts objects were displayed with interpretive labels that featured each artist's photo, biography and some information about the community or artistic tradition.
