AGENCY: Taylorsville (Utah)

SERIES: 31353
TITLE: Deep lot land use applications
DATES: 1996-2013
ARRANGEMENT: Chronological

DESCRIPTION: These are land use records created when applications were submitted by property owners to take a variety of development actions on their larger than typical lots. This is how the city chose to differentiate these applications (by their larger, deeper size) when it first incorporated in 1996 but over time realized there was a better way to distinguish development files and as those alternate ways became more standard, the city created fewer and fewer "deep lot" applications. The last one was created in 2013. The records include the initial application, supporting documentation, staff reports to the decision-making body and often, a decision letter. The majority are applications to subdivide property although some involve applications for vacation of streets & rights of way.
