DESCRIPTION: These records support the agency's function to provide outdoor recreational services, and to help stimulate the local economy as expressed in Utah Code 79-4-203(9) (2025). This series documents the process of evaluating, awarding, executing, and administering contracts and proposals that authorize a business to operate activities within the premises of an agency-managed park or facility.
Documents in this series may include solicitation records for both successful and unsuccessful applications for contracts, such as requests for proposals and awarded contracts. Documents may include the officially signed contracts with formal correspondence related to the negotiation, award, renewal, or termination of the contract; records of the award process, including proposals, bid documents, and selection rationale (if applicable); administrative records such as compliance reports, financial statements, and insurance documents; and may also include inter-local agreements.

List of personal data included: name, address, email, phone number, commercial financial, and business information. While we intend to collect business information, we inadvertently collect personal information as well.
Purpose personal data is collected, maintained, or used: to facilitate the administration, negotiation, and legal enforcement of the contract; to ensure direct communication with authorized representatives; and to verify compliance with insurance and operational requirements.
Legal authority for collecting, keeping, or using personal data: Utah Code 79-4-203 (2025), and Utah Code 79-4-204 (2021).
