DESCRIPTION: These records include documentation related to certification of technicians who test transportation construction and maintenance materials (such as asphalt, concrete, embankment, base, and so on) for quality and compliance purposes. Records include exam preparation manuals, training materials, field training evaluations, signed technician rights and responsibilities agreements, written examination questions, performance exam checklists, individual exam results, and related records.

Individual technician information collected includes: technician name, technician email address, technician certification identification number, exam date, exam result (pass/fail), and certification expiration date. Technician information may be for individual UDOT employees, UDOT contractors, UDOT consultants, and employees of UDOT contracted materials testing laboratories.
