DESCRIPTION: This series consists of both typed and handwritten notes on various state agencies, schools and public utilities as researched by the committee in their study of state government efficiency. A majority of materials come from questionnaires sent to state entities and then returned with the requested information. The information collected was then incorporated into published reports given to the Legislature in late 1936. This series also includes materials related to funding from the Works Progress Administration (W.P.A.).
