TITLE: Discharge monitoring report files

DESCRIPTION: These records are required by CFR 40-122.41 (1987). They document the amount of pollution discharged into the waters of the state from National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit holders. They help to ensure that permit holders do not exceed their discharge limits. Inc1uded are permitee's name, address, and permit number; monitoring period covered by the report; discharge number, type of pollutant(s) covered in the report; average and maximum quantity of the sample measurement and permit limit; minimum, average, and maximum concentration of pollutants in sample and the permit limit, frequency of analysis, sample type, name and title of principal executive officer, signature of principal executive officer, date of report, and an explanation of any violation of the permit requirements.
