DESCRIPTION: These records consist of Utah's proposals submitted to the Department of Energy on 2 September 1987. This was an attempt to secure the federal government's superconducting super collider project. These records are bound volumes sent to Washington D.C. and returned to the Utah Energy Office. The file contains the Cedar Mountain Siting and Ripple Valley Siting proposals plus the first and second reports of a study conducted by Dames & Moore.
